L'origine della ricetta sembra sia nordamericana ma portata all'inizio del '900 da un giapponese che arrivò a San Francisco e resa popolare dalla comunità Cinese che tuttora offre i Biscotti della Fortuna a fine pasto (solitamente i pasti cinesi non prevedono dessert alla fine) .
La ricetta è insolitamente molto semplice e ve la trasmetto . Stà poi a voi cercare dei proverbi, delle citazioni "ad hoc" per l'occasione, specie per il Natale , da unire a ciascun biscotto !
