TARAXACUM OFFICINALIS
(Famiglia: Asteraceaee )
Importantissima pianta officiale a fiore , il Tarassaco si trova comunemente nei nostri campi .giardini e prati e pi ancora in boschi, sui bordi delle strade e fino a 2000 mt di quota .
E' una painta erbacea perenne , verde , di statura bassa (4-10 cm) e con una radice fittonante carnosa e ramificata. Le foglie sono disposte a rosetta, oblinghe-ovate con una nervatura mediana e dentellate sui bordi . Da qui uno dei nomi dato al Tarassaco, Dente di Leone .

Quando si tagliano le piantine emettono una linfa biancastra dallo stelo.
L'infiorescenza del Tarasscao è composta da grossi capolini assurgenti , sostenuti da un lungo piccìolo carnoso.
L'infruttiscenza del Tarassaco si chiama SOFFIONE 8Da qui un altro sinonimo con cui il Tarassaco viene identificato) ed è composta da semi (acheni) sorretti da un "pappo" (paracadute ) atto a protarli durante il volo di disseminazione.
La vegetazione precoce del Tarassaco è presente un pò ovunque, spesso è infestante prediligendo il clima mite di zone aperte e soleggiate.
Le proprietà terapeutiche del Tarassaco sono note da sempre sia nel suo uso Culinario sia in quello puramente fitoterapico.
Il Tarassaco non è una pianta aromatica , tuttavia è una pianta gustosa e commestibile dal sapore gradevolmente amaro. Le foglie tenere possono entrare a far parte di varie insalate miste . Anche la radice viene utilizzata in tavola , ma molto più sovente viene lavorata ed usata a scopi fitoterapici, in quanto contiene alcoli tripermici, steroli, vitamine, lanulina, acido caffeico, asparagina, mucillagini.
Inoltre è ricca di Vitamine A,B,C,D e molti sali minerali come fosforo, potassio, calcio e magnesio.
Il Tarassaco per cure fitoterapiche viene associato a problemi : epiatic, biliari, reumatici, spasmi ed è considerato prodotto anaflogistico , diuretico , antidiscratico(debolezza digestiva). Per questo si ritiene sia uno dei prodotti fitoterapici per la prevenzione di insorgenze tumorali (colon e bile) più potenti ed efficaci.
E' infatti indicato ed utilizzato per le sue proprietà colagoghe , diuretiche, depurative, lassative , amaro-toniche , disintossicante . Viene usato nella medicina popolare che lo pone al centro della TARASSOTERAPIA .
Esistono sia nelle erboristerie che nelle farmacie le capsule contenenti la radice tritata della pianta da utilizzare giornalmente per cure periodiche disintossicanti.
Non si coltiva molto perchè appunto si trova ... in natura nei prati ,ovunque ,mentre altre verdure simili e dello uo stesso gruppo ,come la cicoria ed il radicchio, sono molto coltivati.
Plante officinale, on la trouve couramment dans nos champs. prairies et les jardins, et plus encore dans les bois le long les routes et jusqu'à 2000 mètres d'altitude.
Plante vivace, vert, court (4-10 cm) et avec une racine charnue et fittonante, ramifiée .
Les feuilles sont disposées en rosette, ovales-oblungues avec une nervure médiane et des bords irréguliers et dentellé Sa forme courbée lui donne aussi le nom de Dent -de -Lion. Sous le nom Français de Pissenlit , normalement on réunit pleusieurs plantes à tige creuse , dont l'inflorescence est un capitule plat et jaune. Capitule d'habitute à fleurons ligulés.
cette plante aime les endroits au soleil ou mi-ombre . Sa racine pénétre profonde dans le sol à plus de 50 cm et cela permet à la plante de résister au gel fort de certains Pays très froids comme le Canada ou la Russie.
Le nom "Pissenlit" vient du XVe siècle pour mettre en evidence les propriétés diurétiques de la plante
Le pissenlit est une plante médicinale pour le traitement associé à des problèmes hépatiques , de bile, pour les rhumatismes, les spasmes et elle est considéré un produit contre les inflammations, diurétique, et prevenant la faiblesse digestive. Il est donc considéré comme l'un des produits de base pour la prévention du cancer (côlon et de la bile) plus puissants et efficaces.
Et en effet, indiqué et utilisé pour ses propriétés cholagogues, diurétiques, dépuratives, laxatives, toniques , détoxifiantes. Il est utilisé dans la médecine populaire qui le met au centre de la Tarassothérapie.
Le pissenlit est une plante aromatique et comestible , d'un délicieux goût agréablement amer. Les feuilles tendres peuvent devenir partie intégrante de salades diverses.
Même la racine est utilisée à table, mais plus souvent elle est traitée et utilisée pour des produits de phytothérapie , puisqu'elle contient des stérols, des vitamines, lanuline, l'acide caféique, l'asparagine et des mucilages.

On ne le coultive pas parce que on le trouve ... en nature, dans les prairies au contraire d'autres types de plantes de la Famille des Astaracee, comme la chicorée .

Taraxacum, better known as DANDELION, belongs to the Family of Astaracee,perennial herbaceous plant , living in temperate areas mainly.
Officinal plant, it is commonly found in our fields, meadows and gardens, and even more in the woods ,along the roads and up to 2000 meters.
Perennial, green, short (4-10 cm) and with a fleshy root and fitton, branched.
The leaves are arranged in a rosette,they are 5 to 25 cm long or longer , entire or lobed with a midrib and rough edges. Its curved shape also gives the name of Lion's Tooth.. Under the name for dandelion, we usually meet several hollow-stemmed plants whose inflorescence is a flat yellow flower head. The flower head mature into a sperical clock containing many single-seeded .The flower head is surrounded by bracts in two series.The inner bracts are erect till the seeds get mature, later they flex downward and allow the seeds to disperse.The hair-like parachute from which the seeds are dispersed are called PAPPUS .
This plant loves the sunny places or partial shade. The root penetrates deep into the soil over 50 cm and this allows the plant to withstand freezing of some areas of very cold countries like Canada or Russia.
The name "Dandelion" comes from the fifteenth century when it was custom to put in evidence the diuretic properties of this plant

ORIGIN OF THE NAME: Taraxacum is the Latin word for its original medieval Arabic writings in pharmacy . Certain Al-Razi wrote in 900 A.D. theat the "Tarashaquq was like chicory" , while certain Ibn Sina wrote a book chapetr on taraxacum in the year 1000 A.D. .. The Italian Gerardo da Cremona translating the Arabic text , late 1170, into Latin spelled the word "tarasacon"
