They are so soft !!! a collegue of mine workign in our offices in Bangkok brought me a silk scarf with a nice design of flowers on top: he said that I could even wash with water and soap ,cause that Thai silk was just great and did not need any special care. So I did and it's true!! What kind of silk, I wonder, we use to make our dresses, blouses, etc..?? ciao, gloria

BEAUTIFUL stitching, Gloria. I am so tempted to forget about my quilt magazine deadlines, and stitch. I haven't stitched in the last few weeks because I have been swamped with quilt projects. But I am glad you are -- so that I can come and admire your work!

Hi Wendy! I have seen yr grogeous works on yr blog and the always lovely fabrics you use (Benartex ,etc..) . I'd wish I could it in such a perfect way but it's also a great pleasure for my eyes to see you ... in action. I can tell it's pretty hard to cross stitch on linen at night and sometimes I have to do small parts of teh work again ... just for 1 stitch which wasn't perfectly placed! As I said in the blog , the design is nice and I do adore the threads , hand-dyed Thai silk : it's so soft and flexible you can't image!. Have a ncie day of nice quilt to work on and let's keep in touch, ciao, gloria
