E' splendido, il Biancospino in fiore ! Un arbusto che appartiene alla Famiglia delle Rosacea,una grande famiglia con oltre 200 specie di alberi ed arbusti , dalla Rosa al Melo, dal Pero al Ciliegio, il Pesco, il Susino,l'Albicocco, il Sorbo , il Pruno ecc..
Questo Biancospino cresce e vicve in Europa ed in Italia , prediligendo zone boscose e boscaglie anche se spesso lo troviamo in giardini pubblici e privati crescere vigoroso.
Può arrivare a 5-7 metri di altezza con un diametro di 4-6 metri! E' un arbusto spinoso , compatto e molto ramificato con tantissime foglie piuttosto piccole , ovali a 2 o 3 lobi , color verde scuro e lucide . Fiorisce a Maggio con grappoli di fiori bianchi , come vedete in foto, riuniti in "corimbi" di circa 5-8 cm che ricoprono i rami completamente .
Ha anahce dei frutti che sono delel bacche ovali , rosso cremisi, che spuntano agli inizi dell'autunno.
Le proprietà fitoterapeutiche del Biancospino sono notevoli. Dalle foglie e dai fiori viene ottenuto un estratto secco ricco di Flavanoidi che hanno una forte azione cardiovascolare, sembra, aiutando la dilatazione dei vasi sanguigni addominali e cardiaci aiutando l'apporto di sangue al cuore.
Il Biancospino viene usato anche per scopi sedativi (stati d'ansia) e per combattere i radicali liberi.
Ovviamente qualsiasi estratto va assolutamente comprato in farmacia e non si deve improvvisare con sistemi e metodi fai-da-te! specie se non si è assolutamente sicuri di quello che si sta facendo

The beautiful Hawthorn in bloom! A rustic shrub that belongs to the family Rosaceae, a large family with over 200 species of trees and shrubs, from the Rose Apple to Pear to the Cherry tree , Peach, the Plum tree , Apricot,
Sorb, etc. ..
This Hawthorn grows and lives in Europe and Italy, preferring forrest areas and bushes althought it is often found in public and private gardens .
It can reach 5-7 meters height with a diameter of 4-6 mt! It 's a thorny shrub, much branched and compact with lots of leaves rather small, oval-shaped with 2 or 3 lobes, dark green and shiny. It blooms in May with clusters of white flowers, as you see in the picture, in groups of "corymbs "of around 5.8 cm covering the shrub branches completely.
It also has got fruits which are are berries ,small and round-shaped , red, which sprout in early Autumn.
The herbal properties of Hawthorn are considerable. From Leaves and flowers is obtained a dry extract ,rich in flavanoids which have a strong cardiovascular action, it seems, helping the expansion of abdominal blood vessels and heart increasing the blood circulation to the heart.
The Hawthorn is used for sedative purposes (anxiety ) and to fight free radicals.
Obviously, it should be advisable to get all extract at the chemistry and you should not improvise by do-yourself systems and methods especially if you are not absolutely sure of what you are doing

Et voilà ,la belle aubépine en fleurs! Un arbuste qui appartient à la famille des Rosaceae ,une grande famille avec plus de 200 espèces d'arbres et d'arbustes, du Pommier au Poirier , Cerisier, Pêcher, Prunie, Abricotier, Sorbier, etc ..
Cette Aubèpine grandit et vit en Europe et en Italie, préférant les zones boisées et les fourrés mais souvent on le trouve dans les jardins publics et privés .
Il peut atteindre 5-7 mètres de hauteur avec un diamètre de 4-6 mètres! C'est un arbuste épineux, très ramifié et compact avec beaucoup de feuilles plutôt petites, de forme ovale avec 2 ou 3 lobes, vert foncé et brillantes. Elle fleurit en Mai, avec des grappes de fleurs blanches, comme vous les voyez en photo, réunies en "corymbes" d'environ 5,8 cm qui couvrent les rameaux complètement.
Il a également des fruits qui sont plutot des baies ovales, rouge vif, qui poussent au début de l'automne.
Les propriétés thérapeutiques de Hawthorn sont considérables. Avec les feuilles et les fleurs on obtient un extrait sec riche en flavonoïdes qui ont une forte action cardio-vasculaire, il parait , en soutenant l'expansion des vaisseaux sanguins du cœur et de l'abdomen et en renforcant l'approvisionnement du sang au cœur.
